These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AI Interpreter platform (“Service”), operated by Cotrip Co Ltd(“Ko-trip”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. About Ko-trip & Cotrip Co Ltd

Ko-trip is a product of Cotrip Co Ltd, a company dedicated to breaking language barriers through real-time AI-powered translation technology. Our AI Interpreter platform enables multi-language video calls so that every participant can speak and hear in their preferred language.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required by your country's laws) to use this Service. By using Ko-trip, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate any person.
• Impersonate any individual or entity.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, software, and technology used in connection with Ko-trip and the AI Interpreter Service are the property of Cotrip Co Ltd or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

7. Audio & Translation Data

The Service processes audio in real time to provide live translation. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent that:

• Audio from sessions may be processed by our AI translation systems.
• We do not permanently store session audio unless you explicitly opt in to such a feature.
• You are responsible for obtaining consent from all participants in a session before beginning.

8. Third-Party Services

Ko-trip integrates third-party services including but not limited to Clerk (authentication) and LiveKit (real-time communications). Your use of these integrations is subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cotrip Co Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other business reason.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the jurisdiction where Cotrip Co Ltd is registered.
